MORE ON AMY WINEHOUSE'S ARREST

Amy Winehouse has been released on bail following her arrest yesterday.

The troubled singer was questioned after a video emerged of the star allegedly smoking crack cocaine back in January.

Amy was taken to a police station in East London, by prior arrangement, but was released late last night.

The Rehab star reportedly sobbed uncontrollably but managed to calm down and co-operate with police.

‘We can confirm that a 24-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing controlled drugs when she attended a police station by prior arrangement at 1pm today.  The arrest was part of an ongoing investigation,’ said a Met spokesman.

Peaches Geldof is also expected to be questioned tomorrow after she was filmed allegedly buying £190 of cocaine from the same dealer.

The questioning is thought to be part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged drug supply operation where celebs were being targeted.
