JUNO STAR ELLEN PAGE TO TAKE ON JANE EYRE

Ellen Page is set to star as Jane Eyre in a new adaptation of the Charlotte Bronte novel.

Alison Owen, producer of The Other Boleyn Girl and Brick Lane, has teamed up with BBC Films to shoot the project, likely to start this autumn.

It will be the first period role for Ellen, who bagged an Oscar nomination for her role of a pregnant teenager in Juno.

If you didn’t know the story already - the 1847 novel tells the epic love story of a governess and her master, Edward Rochester.
