HEAT IS OFFICIALLY NAMED AS THE WORST MAGAZINE

Well, we've always suspected it - but now it's official.

Yep, Heat is Britain's worst magazine.

That's a story you won't be reading on their two-bit website.

The mag is so bad that the editor, Mark Frith, is leaving tomorrow, with his head held in shame.

In charge for the time being is the launch-editor of First Magazine. Remember it? Yep, it folded earlier this year with top sales of 50,000 a week. That's a pants figure.

Anyway, back to Heat.

The Shaftas awards night handed their prestigious gong to Heat because of a particularly nasty joke it played on Jordan and her poor disabled son Harvey.

They thought it would be funny to produce a sticker with Harvey - who has Septo-optic dysplasia - with the caption: 'Harvey wants to eat me.'

Tastleless and not funny. And whose laughing now, eh, Heat?
